DJ Extraordinaire, Unbiased Moderation Description of yourself: I'm just an Imperfect Gamer making magic happen everyday. What keeps you on Imperfect Gamers? The rap battles server brings together people from all over the world and you get to hear live performances! What do people think of you in your own words? They cannot see me, I am the Phantom. What are some of your accomplishments? Helped and encouraged new players on the server who have now become regular active players. Where do you see yourself in the future? Being a part of the IG legacy and supporting everyone involved. What brought you to Imperfect Gamers? Looking for surf servers and I saw "rap battles" in the description - sold! How would you describe Imperfect Gamers to someone who's never heard of it? The Imperfect Gamers group goes far beyond a surf server - it connects musicians and excellent gamers worldwide, and it is developing the infrastructure needed to support and promote these people. How has Imperfect Gamers impacted your life? IG is the new gaming social circle that I've been looking for since the days of RPGs are long gone. Opinions & Statements What are some suggestions you would have for Imperfect Gamers? Need better uptime - frequent server crashes and resets really kill the vibe. Sometimes we go from 40 people to 5 in a matter of minutes, and it usually doesn't recover after that. What are some of the main reasons you see people leave Imperfect Gamers? Not enough rappers or DJs; difficult maps for beginners (the server has a beginners tag). What rules would you like to see solidified/altered? Why? I'd like to see the adlibs rule modified somehow - if a rapper specifically approves someone to adlib, that should be ok but it should be per song. It can be very fun and hype when your friend is hyping you up, and then a total mood killer when somebody comes and slaps mutes on them. What customization would you like to see in Imperfect Gamers? Start a separate combat surf server. Any last thoughts or comments? Everybody always reminisces on the old days - they are long gone my friends. It is our job as the staff to encourage and nurture the next generation of rappers and DJ's. Be kind and patient in your moderation. Keep being awesome. |
